Thanks to its visionary olfactory talent, Sileno Cheloni is an internationally renowned Tuscan Master Perfumer and an alchemist of modern times.
By providing balance between idea and form, his work ranges from the concreteness of the raw materials, which he studies, selects and collects with passion and dedication during his continuous travels, to the immaterial sensitivity required to create a fragrance.
For Sileno Cheloni the creation of a fragrance is a work based on lightness, similar to that of a composer, which embodies the avant-garde spirit typical of the artistic perfumer.
A creative act aimed at bringing back memories and emotions.
“I don't create essences to perfume or beautify, not only at least. My goal is to gift you the most precious part of you: imbued with dreams, fears and hopes, a suggestion of life itself. The trail that enhances your passage, your own unforgettable olfactory signature."
Sileno Cheloni and Profumoir
In choosing the precious help of Sileno Cheloni, Profumoir enhances the desire to embrace a vision of perfume as a true sensorial experience, capable of stimulating emotions and desires through smell.
For the Master Perfumer, each fragrance is born from a process of experimentation characterized by freedom of expression. A safe space where to take time to make mistakes and embark on the subsequent quest for a resolution.
A path aimed at supporting each individual in moving through attempts and evaluations that lead to ever-changing, unexpected and uplifting discoveries.
Sileno Cheloni: the Expertise
Since his first meeting with a Sufi Master in Cyprus, who initiated him into the spiritual dimension connected with the art of perfumery, up to the experimental research in the laboratories of Grasse, Sileno Cheloni's artistic, human and professional experience has been unfolding through intense creative years of collaborations, discoveries and creations.
When sitting in a vintage car in the museum dedicated to Ferruccio Lamborghini, founder of the car company of the same name, he was inspired by the smell of leather and briar, to create a fragrance capable of bringing them back to life. Faithful to this creative process, few years later the Master Perfumer created an olfactory signature for Gucci former creative director Alessandro Michele, combining roses, woods and spices to create a fragrance for the flagship stores of the Florentine company. Subsequently, the creation of a candle collection for the Home Decor line led him to create a similar path for Richard Ginori, an expression of excellence in the production of Italian artistic porcelain.
A twenty-year journey, filled with different but complementary projects that he has been able to translate into perfect harmony through the art of perfumery.
